.:Leo: 10 Months:.

How is Leo in double digits now? Crazy!!

Eating: Leo is consistently eating 3 meals a day, combo of purees and solid foods. No new foods that I can think of this month.

He's nursing only about 4x during the day now, definitely cutting back.

Sleeping: Sleeping is better now that we are back home and on our regular schedule. He sleeps better in his crib. He usually has a dream feed around 9:30-10:30pm and then one or two wakeups over night, usually around 3 or 4am. He's been sleeping in lately, till around 8-8:30am!

Napping is still going fairly well- 2x a day. He's still only awake for 2-3 hours before needing a nap and will sleep for 1.5-2 hours most times, unless we are out and he catnaps in the car or stroller.

Diapers: Size 3 Pampers Swaddlers for disposables at night, but mostly in cloth diapers.

Weight/Size: Two weeks ago (Nov 21) Leo was 16lbs, 15oz (3rd percentile) and 28.5 inches long (50th percentile). Still on the smaller size but keeping along his curve so no concerns from the Doctor.

Leo is wearing some 3-6 month and mostly 6-12 month clothing. He wears size 3 infant shoes.

Hair and eyes: Light brown-blonde hair and blue eyes.

Leo's eczema seems to be getting better. It flared up a bit when we first came back home but I imagine that was due to the climate change. I asked the doctor about the blotchy pigment spots on his legs and arms and she said it is hyper pigmentation which is from the eczema. She said once his eczema calms down the spots will slowly fade.

Milestones: Slowly army crawling, more like rolling and reaching then pushing with his legs.
We are also working a bit on sign language. So far he signs "more" when eating, which looks like clapping.

Teething: Leo now has 6 teeth, 4 on the bottom and 2 on the top! His two front teeth are ready to cut any day now- they are right there! He's been drooling a bit more than normal too.

Personality: Happy guy! Such an observer.

Nicknames: Little Man, Mr. Leo, Lovey, Baby Brother, Buddy, Goofball, Little Love

Likes: Eating, people talking to him, sitting in the high chair at the table, splashing in the water, the Ergo, jumperoo, being tickled, blast off with Daddy, his sister and playing peek-a-boo

Dislikes: dirty diapers, teething, being alone, falling over

Mommy Update: I'm working out the details of my return to work with my bosses. I have to start the search for childcare now so hopefully that will go smoothly. Hard to believe it's already time to think about this!

Big Sister: Loves her little brother more each day! In the car she will tell me she can't see Leo so I will have to move the car seat canopy so she can see him. She is such a good big sis!

Misc:  We are busy getting ready for Christmas. Leo met Santa for the first time and wasn't too interested in him. We are looking forward to his first Christmas!

Leo, you are the sweetest little boy a mama could ask for! You are the mama's boy I always wanted! Each day is better with you in it!

  4. Oh my goodness what a little love!!! I got eczema when I was in college and it was magnified when I changed climate, ESPECIALLY to a cold climate! Oddly enough, I did a candida cleanse and it disappeared and never returned. Henry has a little eczema on his legs, all the boys in my family have had it! He is seriously a dream boat!!! Enjoy your your first Christmas as a family of four!
