:Henry: Three Months:

Eating: Henry generally eats every 2-4 hours. I try to feed him lots in the afternoon/early evening to help him sleep at night.

Sleeping: We are starting to get to a 3 naps a day routine. He is ready for a nap about 1-1.5 hours after waking. So either we have to rush to get everyone fed and out the door so Henry can fall asleep in his car seat doing whatever it is we have planned that morning, or we stay at home until he wakes from his first nap. Naps range from 45 minutes to 3 hours. He will sleep in his Dockatot/crib for naps,  or sometimes the Mamaroo.

We had a good week long streak of Henry sleeping 10 hours straight a night. It was glorious. Once we went on vacation he started to revert back to waking a couple times a night but he seems to sleep for 7-11 hours straight. I've got all my fingers and toes crossed that he continues on this trend to being a good night sleeper.

Diapers: Size 1 but this will be the last box since he is growing out of them.

Weight/Size: Not sure. He was 12.5lbs at 8 weeks and it feels like he is getting bigger by the day!

He is wearing 0-3m and 3-6m clothes.

Hair and eyes: Dark brown/black hair. I think his eyes are changing from dark blue to brown/hazel.

Personality: Henry is generally a pretty happy little man but he is pretty serious when the camera comes out! He coos like crazy, especially in the morning and when he wakes up from a nap. He has starting "talking" and a bit of shrieking. He is so happy when you go to get him when he wakes up.

Nicknames: Baby Henry, Litte Man

Likes: being held so he can see what's going on, the solly wrap, his carseat, diaper changes, laying on the play mat, being swaddled, bath time, watching his siblings, his fists in his mouth

Dislikes: Being hungry, having a dirty diaper, having his toes dipped into the lake, not being able to see someone, being overtired.

Milestones: Henry has rolled a couple times while being on his tummy. He generally doesn't mind tummy time too much and is getting so strong holding his head up.

Mama: Having three little ones is busy. Sometimes it feels like someone needs me all the time, which can be overwhelming. We are getting into a good routine and the chaos is starting to be a bit more predictable. Bed time is the hardest since everyone wants me. I've only had to do bedtime by myself 100% once or twice and it was challenging.

Next week we start our new routine with the older two going to school. I'm excited for the routine but I'm also dreading the routine and the daily pick up/drop offs with 3 children. I'm hoping that this will give me time to workout more, meal plan and have some me time. I am mourning the end of weekday playdates, lazy days and spur of the moment zoo adventures.

Big Sister & Big Brother: Audrey and Leo LOVE Henry and often smother him with love. There are still some moments of jealousy but I think they are enjoying him being more interactive with them. Audrey has started telling me what Henry needs-- "Mom, Henry needs a boobie" "Mom, Henry needs a diaper change" "Mom, pick up Henry!"

Henry, these last 3 months have been so fun watching you become part of our family! You are the perfect 3rd child and I can't wait to see you grow with your siblings. You are so loved!

  2. Doesn't it feel like they were just born?! Time is flying by. Why is bedtime the worst? I only have to do it for one, and dread doing it alone. I swear Gabe wants to be fed, held/rocked exactly when Amelia needs to go to bed
