And then there was snow...

Yup, it snowed last night, and continues to snow. It's just a light dusting so not annoying yet.
As long as my winter coat continues to fit, I don't mind the snow (I will probably be eating my words in a month or so). It kinda puts me in a festive, yet hibernating mood. I want to craft, bake, and decorate!

We don't have many plans for the weekend but I am sure I will keep busy. It's daylight savings time so we get an extra hour of sleep on Sunday which I am super excited for! I am not looking forward to the darkness though :( I foresee a lot more treadmill walks in my future, especially now that the snow has arrived.

Since this post is boring- here are some pictures of some recent Etsy purchases (excluding Christmas gifts since I don't know for sure who lurks around here!)

Reusable snack/sandwich bags
Mine are different fabrics
We use so many zip lock bags bringing our lunches to work each day that I decided these cute bags would be a great way to save money on our groceries and help the environment! Can't wait to use them!

Flower Earrings
Custom colour order
I am usually pretty boring when it comes to earrings. I don't often wear big or dangly earrings so these are perfect! I was able to pick the colours I wanted too.

Needless to say, I did not follow Alison's 'No Shopping in October' rule! I did manage to buy a few Christmas gifts and a few of the things that I posted for the baby (hat and decals) are from Etsy. It's a really great site, you just have to make sure you don't get hosed on shipping!!

Have you started Christmas shopping yet or are you one of those last minute Christmas-eve shoppers? Do you buy gifts online?

Enjoy your weekend!

  1. I actually don't have that much Christmas shopping to do. We draw names for Brian's family and then my family we are going away together. It's kind of nice :)

    Have a great weekend!

  5. I start Xmas shopping on dec 24. It's a firm rule. I usually finish by jan 4. That didn't work out last year because of on line shopping. That had me finishing in June, and it was a pretty traumatic experience for all involved.

  6. I've moved more and more to online shopping. I'm mostly buying for kids, so I intend to do almost all of my shopping over the computer this year, in the next month.
